Sarcoidosis Celebrities

celebrities with sarcoidosisI did a google search today for Sarcoidosis and the words “Sarcoidosis Celebrities” came up & to my dismay…Jack Walker (my handsome hubby) was not listed as one.  Now those of us familiar with Sarc know that Reggie White, Bernie Mac, Tisha Campbell, Karen Duffy and many other famous celebrities have or had Sarcoidosis.  It is what we don’t know and they don’t know that can literally mean life or death.

The Real Sarcoidosis Celebrities

When Jack was first diagnosed with Sarcoidosis we had never heard the word before & had no idea what we were in for.  Nine years have now passed and he has been in remission for 4 of those years solely because we refused to live a life of prescriptions, disease & hopelessness.  Don’t get me wrong…we went through 3 years in the medical gauntlet and were hopeless but had to believe that there was a better way.  I wish Sarcoidosis Celebrities  would follow suit and join us in speaking out about alternative methods of healing!!!

You see he is in remission – No scar tissue – No tumors – No coughing – No Sarcoidosis and yet his story will never be told by physicians or the 3 specialists who treated him for the first 3 years.  No, they will not share his story because they did not have anything to do with his success.   Nor do they want to know how he did it.

So we will continue to share how he and many others have become true Sarcoidosis Celebrities by taking back their health and daring to think outside the prescription in our Education Beats Medication wellness series.  After all, these natural methods are all backed by scientific research.  It took me years to put all the pieces together and Finally we finished it for all with Sarcoidosis to use as a resource guide.

Our list of Sarcoidosis celebrities grows daily.  These people are all still alive, they have all chose to make some simple lifestyle changes to better their health and help their bodies overcome Sarcoidosis naturally even while on medications etc.

Betty Jackson, Jack Walker, Brenday D, Alesia Z, Josh D, Ryan J, Jacqueline T, Kathy B & many more.

To my knowledge, only 2 of these people are still on any prescriptions medications (prednisone) and 1 has just had her follow up tests completed and her pulmonologist agreed to wean her off completely!!!  Most of the people who use these methods  with success are in stage 1 or 2 of Sarcoidosis.  As with any disease, the more progressed the more difficult to reverse but you can live a much more quality life no matter what.

More than anything my google search for more information on Sarcoidosis lead me down a rabbit hole today.  I was sad to see that there are more people searching for famous Sarcoidosis celebrities than natural treatments for Sarcoidosis.

I really do not mean to sound insensitive but if the wealthiest people, who can afford the best medical attention, are dieing from this disease then maybe we need to change our attention and seek an effective alternative…maybe?!??!?

If the medical industry is still using the same treatment today that they were 30+ years ago (and they are) then maybe we need to consider the possibility that there could be a better way…one with no side effects & more health…maybe?!??!??  What do you think?

Dare to think outside the prescription & live a life less ordinary.  It’s time to write your own story.  There is hope & we’ve finally finished our Surviving Sarcoidosis total wellness series!  Simply click the picture below & take back your health with us.

Hello Joan, just keep truckin is right! You have overcome and continued to keep your determination and I love it. My motto is “education beats medication” because our experience with Sarcoidosis left us taking our health into our own hands and becoming educated. Jack said no to “ask your Doctor” after 3 years of traditional treatment and took his own path to healing. It has paid off very well as he is in remission with no scar tissue. We all have our own path in life and I am thankful for you sharing your resilience & strength. Two things we can all use more of. Have a wonderful day & if you even want to give natural remedies a go, send me an email dani@daniwalker.com! Cheers

I have been suffering with Sarcoidosis for over 10 years, after coming back from the Gulf War in 1991 I developed symtoms. I was on high doses of Prednisone and Methatrexate for over 7 years, when diabtes was on the horizon I chose to come off of the prednisone, I was a health nut and martial artist so I was devastated to have my weight go up to almost 300 lbs, now I am 240 and I only take DHEA and Spirulina, I feel soooo much better and I am even back to lifting weights and walking. I still have blindness in my right eye and some joint pains but I am off the Prednisone and will NOT go back.

Mark, Thank YOU so much for sharing what is working for you. I love hearing that other people are having positive results naturally. Spirulina is an amazing nutrient, much like the fucoidan found in brown seaweed. Jack suffered the same weight gain with prednisone and is now down to 230 – hoping to get to 220-225. He loves cycling and stays more active today than he was before diagnosed. We are blessed to have our health and all of us need to fight to keep it. Medications, many times only hide the symptoms and never address the underlying cause. Congrats to you! I wish more people would share their success. We all know how many are suffering. Hugs to you.

I would like to know about the natural sarcoidosis treatment you used. I am 64 and have probably had this for many years without realizing it. It got really bad January of this year and I have been trying to fight it naturally.
