Live A Life Less Ordinary Is Extraordinary

Life Less OrdinaryGood morning to you…. as I woke this Christmas morning laying by the man of my dreams I was reminded of my “past” life and thought I would write a quick yet hopefully inspiring post about a life less ordinary!
First of all Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Just 3 1/2 short years ago I spent many a night asking God or ANYONE listening, for that matter, to heal my husband. That he would wake up complete and miraculously healed. No more Sarcoidosis, no more fatigue, swelling, aching, vertigo, colds, Dr.s, scans, biopsies, medications….no more, MORE! My days were spent searching for answers to tons of unanswered and unanswerable questions. Waiting, watching and wondering if our kids would grow up with their Father, what toll would it take on our lives if he did not survive this, how would the 3 of us get through such loss?
My family needed me to remain strong. I succeeded “on the outside” but the worry took it’s toll & the shower became my “safe place” to lose it! If I needed to scream and yell I would go for a drive.
Living in the moment is hard when worry is so easy. Obviously, Jack survived & is now in remission, thus this entire blog, BUT for millions “dealing” with the disease card, I relate, remember & will NEVER relent.
The first time I heard this song, I was driving (one of those days) to Imnaha to pick produce from our garden & serve at Calderas. Jack was in the midst of his battle with Sarcoidosis and the medical treatment was NOT working. The song came on, I immediately loved the beat, cranked it up as loud as it would go & felt as though this was a gift to me directly from Jack. I can’t really explain how that very moment helped me regain hope for his healing and gave me the desperately needed strength to back him up when he told his Dr.s & Specialists… NO!
That was 3 yrs ago & we have NOT looked back since. He is in remission through alternative & natural remedies, he never had to take the Lipitor they wanted to prescribe him, he got off Prednisone, his lymph nodes went back to their normal size & he is here this beautiful Christmas morning with his brilliant smile to greet me & our two boys. I could NOT ask for a more marvelous gift than that thus we created our Education Beats Medication wellness series and have inspired 1000’s of people from around the world to live a life less ordinary with us by thinking outside the prescription!
My wish for every person on this planet is that you live a healthy life, a quality life, a blessed life with those you love.
