My present husband is 81 and has had parkinsons for 12yrs..just keep on truckin.. as they say.
ReplyHello Joan, just keep truckin is right! You have overcome and continued to keep your determination and I love it. My motto is “education beats medication” because our experience with Sarcoidosis left us taking our health into our own hands and becoming educated. Jack said no to “ask your Doctor” after 3 years of traditional treatment and took his own path to healing. It has paid off very well as he is in remission with no scar tissue. We all have our own path in life and I am thankful for you sharing your resilience & strength. Two things we can all use more of. Have a wonderful day & if you even want to give natural remedies a go, send me an email dani@daniwalker.com! Cheers
ReplyI have been suffering with Sarcoidosis for over 10 years, after coming back from the Gulf War in 1991 I developed symtoms. I was on high doses of Prednisone and Methatrexate for over 7 years, when diabtes was on the horizon I chose to come off of the prednisone, I was a health nut and martial artist so I was devastated to have my weight go up to almost 300 lbs, now I am 240 and I only take DHEA and Spirulina, I feel soooo much better and I am even back to lifting weights and walking. I still have blindness in my right eye and some joint pains but I am off the Prednisone and will NOT go back.
ReplyMark, Thank YOU so much for sharing what is working for you. I love hearing that other people are having positive results naturally. Spirulina is an amazing nutrient, much like the fucoidan found in brown seaweed. Jack suffered the same weight gain with prednisone and is now down to 230 – hoping to get to 220-225. He loves cycling and stays more active today than he was before diagnosed. We are blessed to have our health and all of us need to fight to keep it. Medications, many times only hide the symptoms and never address the underlying cause. Congrats to you! I wish more people would share their success. We all know how many are suffering. Hugs to you.
ReplyI would like to know about the natural sarcoidosis treatment you used. I am 64 and have probably had this for many years without realizing it. It got really bad January of this year and I have been trying to fight it naturally.
ReplyHello Dawna, I have emailed you more info. Here is a link with more about our story as well https://daniwalker.com/sarcoidosis-treatment
We just finished our book/audio series which is EVERYTHING we wish we know before Jack was diagnosed. I look forward to hearing back from you.
